The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for the year 2024. They are inviting applications from candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Additionally, vacancies for the Forest Services will be filled through this year’s CSE exam as well.

The application window for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination opened on February 14, 2024. The deadline to submit UPSC 2024 exam date applications online is March 05, 2024. The preliminary exam is set to take place on May 26, 2024. • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) are allowed nine attempts for general and OBC categories, with unlimited attempts for SC/ST.

Application Fee Details

• Male candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay ₹100.
• There is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and female candidates across all categories.
• Payment can be made online through net banking from various banks, or by Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Cards.
