The G2C Playbook: A Guide for Government Officials
The G2C Playbook, based on private-sector standards, provides a strategy and data-driven approach for considering migration. It offers a means for making the most of a location’s unique attributes to advance an organization’s goals and operations. The Playbook can guide discussions and decentralization plans, including sections on long-term agency visions, communications, organizational operations, and workforce talent innovations. GSA, OMB, OPM, and DOL collaborated on the G2C Playbook.
An agency’s location and design are rethought in G2C to maximize its service to the American public. To provide an integrated experience for the people they serve, an agency should examine its operations and support activities to see if there are any opportunities to do so. G2C empowers an agency to make data-driven location decisions that streamline front and back office procedures, reach talent, and deliver efficient public service.

FASTag and CSCS certification
NHAI uses FASTag, an electronic toll collection system, to collect tolls in India. FASTag is an easy-to-use system. A reloadable toll tag provides an automated deduction of toll charges and the ability to pass through a toll plaza without making a monetary transaction. After the tag account is activated, the tag is mounted to the vehicle’s windscreen using Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The system is now used at more than 425 toll plazas across national and state highways.
CSC and NHAI have teamed up to distribute FASTags via the CSCS network. Customers can purchase and affix FASTags at toll plazas using the Digital Seva Portal, and VLES will distribute the tags.

What are the two most important BillPay participants?
- The Bharat Bill Payment Central Unit (BBPCU) governs the entire system and its participants as a central unit. The BBPCU is India’s National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
- An authorized operational unit (BBPOUS) is operating by the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) criteria. Paying bills can be accomplished through various delivery methods thanks to BBPOUS’ integration of billers, aggregators, payment gateways, and other service providers.
