After a long wait, the UPSC has finally unveiled the academic schedule for the year 2021. The Civil Service Main Examination which was postponed due to the pandemic is scheduled on 8th January to last till 17th January, and CSE is scheduled to be held on 27th June.
The recruitment tests which were postponed have been scheduled to be held at the end of the academic year 2020-2021. The notifications that have been released till now in 2020 feature Combined Geo-Scientist for 2021 on 7th October 2020, the CDS exams for 2021 on 29th October 2020, and CISF AC on on 2nd December, 2020. The notification was followed by another notification by UPSC NA notification on 30th December.
The notification for the UPSC Civil Service Examinations 2021 is scheduled to be released in February 2021, and the examination dates are allotted and scheduled to be held on June 27 2021. UPSC IES, ISS 2021 exam is set to be held on July 16, 2021, in combination with combined geo-scientist which is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2021, according to the schedule which is released by the UPSC.
However, several examinations are still pending for the academic year 2020, which were postponed due to the pandemic. The detailed calendar and examination schedule is posted on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
It is not easy to clear the UPSC Examinations. It is not only the toughest examination in the country but of the world. Hence, students devote hours and hours preparing for the examination. Candidates must be persistent and patient to prepare and complete the syllabus as it takes 2 years for a single attempt. The extra time that every candidate has because of the current scenario, the candidates now have some more time to plan and prepare their course accordingly.
Most consider that since UPSC is one of the toughest examinations worldwide, one needs to be born with extra talent and merit to crack the examination. But over time, many hard-working and brilliant candidates have proved that no does not need to be born with a talent to pass the examination, but it is because of their hard work and dedication that they were successful in their attempt to crack the examination.
Along with hard work and dedication, the candidates must be smart enough to dedicate and allocate their time appropriately in the completion of their syllabus. The UPSC Syllabus is huge and it takes smart learning to finish the entire syllabus before the examination date. Learning everything by heart will not be of great help unless the candidates understand the concept and can apply the concept in practical based questions.
After clearing the prelims of the UPSC, candidates are tested on their presence of mind and their ability to remain unbiased during critical situations. Hence it is not only that every student needs to be hardworking and genius, but they must also utilize their time effectively and efficiently, to pass the examination. And the extra time that students have to prepare, must use it wisely.
